Boris has fucked them all most wont be open much longer. If he doesn’t officially close most will go bust within 2/3 weeks.

Re: Who's off to the pub this weekend?
Nope. The less we do that stuff now, the quicker this shit will be over and we can get back to normal and ALL the pubs can be full again.

Granted I realise it's terrible times for that industry right now but surely the less we move about and interect, the quicker we slow/stop the virus.

Seems an oxymoron to me that the pubs are still open but told not to go?

The vast majority of business insurance will not cover Covid 19, whether the Government orders a shut down or not.

Less of an oxymoron, more of a moron test.

Might have a few shifty beers tomorrow providing I can find a pub that is two thirds empty pub which shouldn't be difficult.

Re: Who's off to the pub this weekend?
No businessman in his right mind is going to volunteer to close.

Government need to grow a pair and make sure the ONLY places open are food suppliers and that needs to be heavily regulated, rationed and made as safe as possible for all.

Otherwise stay in your house and suffer. Tough shit.

Fuck the economic considerations for a bit.

Or carry on as we are now and watch it get a lot worse with no end in sight.

Only backs Boris so far then?

Luckily 'Spoons goers are the very paragon of cleanliness and the highest common denominator for Social responsibility.

My eldest lives in Madrid and has been locked down for almost a fortnight, the government there have said anyone caught breaking the confinement laws are subject to either a year inside or 30,000 euros fine. Needs to get draconian to stop the idiots.
